Safeguarding

EOLP recognises that it has a duty of care to protect a person’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect.

Regular staff training is provided to give employees support and guidance in safeguarding adults at risk, including how to identify the role of other agencies, definitions of abuse, the legal framework within which we work and procedures employees must follow.

EOLP follows Cheshire East Council  and Cheshire West and Chester Council guidelines on who should report abuse and how to do so

EOLP does not provide direct clinical services and does not direct or control care or treatment for patients, residents or carers. EOLP support professional and/or informal carers with guidance around palliative and end of life care.
