  • Length: Two full days face to face and one 1.5 hour session online
  • Suitable for: Relevant for any health and social care staff who support patients who are affected by a life limiting illness that causes breathlessness
  • Delivered: Face to face at the End of Life Care Education Hub, Spring Farm Business Centre, Moss Lane, Crewe CW1 4RJ and online via Microsoft Teams

Session Overview

This programme will explore the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system and the causes of breathlessness. It will consider the non pharmacological approaches to breathlessness management and also how to provide holistic support to a breathless patient at the end of life.

In Person: Thursday 12 and  Thursday 26 June 2025 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Online:  Thursday, 20 November 2025 Online via Microsoft Teams.

Attendance at all three sessions is mandatory.
