Award Winning Executive & Team Coach, Leadership expert and Chartered Psychologist

Do you work in leadership?  Do you manage people with potential to take on more senior leadership roles? Do you have a succession plan in place so that you will always have a confident, skilled and knowledgeable leadership team?  A team that can cope with the demands brought about by the increasing numbers of people needing palliative and end of life care in the near future?

We can help you to build a culture of growth and improvement; to deliver tangible career progression for your most promising middle managers; and to help you to retain your very best staff to keep your organisation strong.

The Aspiring Leaders in Palliative Care Programme has a reputation for growing leaders of the future. And it just got better.  We have listened to feedback, reviewed the course content, looked at the likely future needs of UK hospices, and updated the programme to give you the best possible outcomes.

The Aspiring Leaders in Palliative Care Programme is delivered by an award winning Business and Coaching Psychologist , alongside palliative care experts who understand the challenges faced in a palliative and end of life environment.

Who is it for?

It is for anyone already working in middle management (we’ve had marketers, fundraisers and finance managers join our cohorts as well as clinical staff) who wishes to progress their career in palliative and end of life care.

Session Overview

Our management training and coaching programme develops a core set of key skills that managers need to lead teams.

These essential skills include:

  • Change Management
  • Challenging Performance
  • Delegating Effectively
  • Resilence
  • Motivating & Developing Others.

We will also use a “live” topic to form the basis of a work based project, enabling delegates to practice skills with a current subject matter.

Alongside formal learning, delegates will have the unique opportunity to network and share best practice with other hospice staff.
