Session Overview

.This whole-day event will include sessions on the following:

• Falls Prevention and Tools
• Dementia, including the Mental Capacity Act
• Consent and Advance Care Planning
• ICARE+Share
• Recognising the Last 12 Months of Life

Learning Outcomes

• Be able to discuss fall causes, prevention and tools for use in practice
• Recognise when a resident is approaching the last 12 months of life
• Understand ICARE+Share and its use in practice
• Have an understanding of the issues relating to Consent and Advance Care Planning in the context of Dementia

• Length: All Day (8:30 – 16:00)
• Suitable for: All Care Home Staff who want to increase their knowledge relating to residents in care homes
• Delivered: In person
