Session Overview

This session aims to enhance participants’ communication skills by developing key facilitative techniques that support therapeutic relationships and promote a person-centred approach in care.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session, the participant will be able to:

  • Critically reflect on the principles of a person-centred approach in communication.

  • Evaluate the role and impact of the core conditions in building therapeutic relationships

  • Explore and discuss the value of facilitative communication skills in practice.

  • Length: 5.5hrs
  • Suitable for: Qualified nurses and Allied health professionals
  • Delivered: Face to Face – End of Life Care Education Hub, Spring Farm Business Centre,  Crewe or Online via Microsoft Teams
