Namaste Care Train the Trainer

Helping people with advanced dementia live, not just exist
If you're looking to improve dementia care within your organisation, the Namaste Train the Trainer programme equips a member of your team with the knowledge, confidence and practical resources to embed the internationally recognised Namaste approach into everyday practice.
You will develop in-house expertise that can be shared across your organisation with the knowledge, skills and resources to train colleagues and help embed the Namaste approach.
More importantly, it meets your CQC single assessment framework requirements for person-centred care and for reducing restrictive practices, and it also satisfies NICE guidance by offering an evidence-based non-pharmacological approach to reducing agitation and distress.
Giving your organisation better compliance, reduced medication reliance, and a highly skilled team without needing extra staff hours.

Session Overview
This one-day in person train the trainer course with a follow-up online mentoring session is designed to give you the skills to implement Namaste care within your care setting. Making sure you are confident in the principles of Namaste Care and sharing your knowledge and train others.
