Opening the Spiritual Gate

Session Overview

An interactive programme designed to raise the spiritual awareness of all health and social care staff, increasing confidence to support the spiritual needs of people facing life-limiting illnesses.

The programme is divided into four sessions and includes an accompanying workbook to support learning.

Learning Outcomes

The day provides person-centred practice that recognises the circumstances, concerns, goals, beliefs and cultures of the person, their family, and friends, and acknowledges the significance of spiritual, emotional, and religious support.
