Aim: To be able to review, update and refresh the programme for care homes that have previously completed the Six Steps Programme
It is recommended that all care homes who have previously undertaken a Six Steps Programme have a review of their current position. It is recommended that homes undertake this at least every 2 years. If circumstances change significantly within a care home, this review should be undertaken following those changes.
This review will lead to a number of different options:
The care home may:
- Be fully up to date with the programme and require no further action
- Have some areas identified where further work/development is required
- Need to undertake the whole programme
