This course was previously known as “Dilemmas in End of Life and Dementia Care: Learning through Simulation; a practical workshop” Who is it for? All health and social care practitioners: GPs, Qualified Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Allied Health professionals who work in the community or care home environment. Course Overview

  • An opportunity to practice end of life and dementia clinical and decision-making skills, techniques and communication issues through various real-life situational experiences in a realistic, safe and supportive environment.
  • Through audio visual equipment, it enables participants to observe and reflect on individual actions, therefore optimising the learning experience.

Cost FULLY FUNDED for staff in Vale Royal, South, East and West Cheshire. £60 for delegates outside this area Course Format A one day programme provided by accredited simulation facilitators.
