Who is it for?

This is an interactive course and attendees are expected to join in activities and participate in group discussion to gain maximum benefit. The day is aimed at hands on health and social care staff of all levels who have already done basic dementia awareness training (such as dementia friends).

This course is aligned to tier 2 of the Dementia Core Skills Education and Training Framework 2015 and includes outcomes from subjects 4, 5, 6, 8 and 12.

Course Aim

ADST present this new interactive course aimed at increasing your empathy and understanding of  dementia. Differing from the previous course the new programme focuses on what it can be like to have advanced dementia with complications in last year of life and identifying the last year of life, through the journey of Anne.

Cost

FULLY FUNDED to staff in East and Central Cheshire

£60 to delegates outside the area including Western Cheshire.
