A pioneering project conceived by the End of Life Partnership (EOLP) has been recognised by Orbitas.
Owned by Cheshire East Council, Orbitas, who offer bereavement and handyperson services, donated £8,000 to the award winning charity EOLP to help fund their “All About Me” booklets.
The booklet was developed to enable and empower people to think about, talk about and document important information about their life. The donation enables more booklets to be produced as well as supporting work carried out by EOLP in the local community helping lonely and isolated people.
Cllr David Marren, Chairman of Orbitas Bereavement Services said “Our two organisations have similar aims to help people prepare for their future and support them with loss. We are delighted to be able to support this worthwhile charity in helping people at, often, difficult times.”
Salli Jeynes, CEO, EOLP added “Once again I would like to thank Orbitas for their generous donation. It has been an extremely valuable to have the on-going support of Orbitas, not just for their financial contribution, but also for the mutual aims we have to provide support for our local communities”
